About us
The aim of Shri Bhagavad Gita Charitable Trust is not only to provide assistance. We want every person in need to find support, opportunity and a path to self-reliance, so they can live with dignity.

Beyond assistance, towards self-reliance.
Our story
It all began with a name. Gita is not just a name, it is a way of living. We thought: if women named Gita came together, how much good could be done?
Today thousands of Gita Bens are part of this family. From villages to cities, every sister contributes in her own way. One cooks meals, one teaches children, one holds the hand of a patient in hospital.
We believe that service changes society and that togetherness makes women strong.
Our vision
To bring thousands of Gita Bens onto one platform and build a strong network for service, women's empowerment, employment and social participation.
Our mission
To bring positive change in society through continuous service for elders, children, patients, families in need and women.
Our values
- Service
- Help wherever it is needed, without discrimination.
- Values
- Living the teachings of the Gita in daily life.
- Self-reliance
- Help that lets a person stand on their own feet.
